Dr. Stone:
The baby and Peter Jackson were both vital to us understanding the virus. We had to establish a connection between the two, but that was Hall's job. Leavitt and I were studying the virus to learn about how it grows and what it does to kill people. We found that is was green, and it turned purple whenever is started to grow. We also found that it grows well in many different situations, and it can even grown in a place without oxygen, (this is how it survived in space).
Leavitt and I also studied the satellite. We discovered that a very small rock had collided with the satellite, and the virus was on the rock. We also found a couple other spots on the satellite where the virus was growing. When studied at very high magnification, the rock almost looked like a mini-planet, and ideal place for the virus to grow. We also believe this rock caused the satellite to fly out of orbit and land near the town of Piedmont, which it wasn't supposed to.
